High School Drama/Performing Arts

Drama and Performing Arts at PHAA is two-quarter program that culminates in the performance of a full-length musical theatre production.  Past productions have included, “Fiddler on the Roof”, “The Sound of Music”, “Annie”, “Little Women”, and “Les Miserables”.  Students are involved in all aspects of the production including backstage management, sound and lighting direction, live orchestra and, of course, acting.  With a seasoned production team of directors, coaches, costumers, house managers, art/production designers, performing arts at PHAA is building a reputation of excellence.  Casting is open to PHAA high school students and is done by a careful open audition process in September for performances in mid-February.

This year we are looking forward to our seventh production, “The Music Man”.
